What to say about this book. I honestly don't know where to start; did I like it? Didn't I? I really cannot be sure.
The day before I began to read this book I finished Nick Cave's other offering entitled "And the ass saw the angel". It was a dirty, bleeding grimy book- and one of the most brilliantly written I have had the pleasure to read. I would describe the book as gruesomely beautiful, tragic and insightful.
