Coming at the future from another angle

**If you are aware of something which is alive which is not DNA based then let me know in the comments and if you've known it for some time and have even found that there are some good books on the topic please suggest them to me.**
Think of the dark side of it all. It's totally dystopian, it's the creation of a global mainstream. It's the creation of a dumb mass who all think the same thing. It seemed like such a sweet project of enlightenment. But think of a large group of people who all think the same thing. I haven't read Malcom Gladwell's 'Blink' but don't intellectualise it, just think of a huge group of people who all think the same thing. What's the image that comes to mind. For me it's a grey dystopian picture in some grey future where a dictator has everyone thinking the same thing to keep them subdued and do his bidding and all that shit.
But the masters of progress rebuke: no, it won't be like that. Because they all have it wrong. We're gonna get it right. We're gonna go past these false beliefs and find the truth, and then everyone can believe that.
This was a crucial stage of becoming conscious for us. We finally woke up to the fact that there is a truth out there about the world. But it was only once we became conscious to that and started to pursue that truth, which we had never realised we didn't know, that we could come to find that there is no truth.
It seems quite obvious to me now in this universe that is so big that we couldn't begin to have a word for it. In which the biggest thing we know about is so small in comaparison to the whole that we cannot become to begin to have a word for how small it is. And we think there is some kind of truth. I mean truths about the affairs of men? truths about the affairs of a bunch of old greying bigotted sexist racist any other form of ineptitude of vision guys. These guys nonetheless were the ones to allow us to realise that there is no truth.
It's a necessary journey.
Step 1 - just go on doing your own thing. Not thinking about the world, just getting by in it. You are oblivious to the fact that things can be worked out, that there is a truth out there.
Step 2 - Come to the realisation and start using a crude working model of the truth so as to better get around in the world and best exploit any situation. A poor model is better than no model which is what everyone else had been using up until this point.
Step 3 - You now work on the model as you go, this way you are still free to use it, despite the fact that its still a work in progress, and you can continue to work towards the final product as you do it.
Step 4 - as your model comes to better and better represent the world you secretly cross a point of inflection without noticing it. The world is complex. This is the reason it's useful to have a model. But soon the model comes to be too similar to the world, it starts to become too complex. You have crossed the tipping point before which the speed at which your knowledge was becoming more and more useful to you was increasing as your model became more and more similar to the world. Then BAM you hit a point of inflection without even knowing it, who could possibly feel a point of inflection, you keep going the same way, you're still speeding up, your just speeding up slower than you were before, but your still speeding up. Knowledge is increasing but your getting less bang for you buck out of the accuracy of your model.
Step 5 - But that point of inflection was the nail in the coffin, you are now innevitably headed back down the scale. And if you llok up ahead you realise that if your model comes to perfectly represent the world, then it will be as incomprehensibly complex as the world which it is mimicking, and at that point you will be back where you started.
Step 6 - As you conemplate coming up with a model to help you interpret your model, you realise the cyclical nature of the spiral that is the quest for truth. For you shall never be any closer to infinity than had you never ventured a step. For infinity minus one trillion = infinity minus one = infinity minus zero = infinity. So while there may be a truth out there, the proposition shall remain undecidable by human efforts, us who live in a world where you could be excused for believing in classical mechanics since it accurately describes everything you can see.
Step 7 - Some will jump off the ship here. Exclaim that we can never know. That truth is an illusion, or worse, irrelevant. But others will see the spiral nature of the cyclical journey. They shall continue their drudge to the source with new found reason to think of it as a quest. Deftly navigating the tides of men, they shall hitch a ride to eternity. The first species from earth to get taken over in the evolutionary race and jump off their host into the next contenders.
I am a team of ideas masquerading in a world of homo sapiens. The ideas are not tied to a single body, but this is nothing new, the ideas are not tied to a single bloodline, but this is nothing new, the ideas are not tied to a single species, but this is nothing new, the ideas are not tied to a single branch of the evolutionary tree, but this is nothing new. The ideas can live in mediums which are not DNA based, this is new. The first thing to be alive but not have DNA. Some don't believe it now, so they deny that humans are being surpassed as top evolutionary dog. But soon there will be widely accepted evidence of something which is alive and is not DNA based, and it won't have come from another planet. Kevin Kelly knows it, I'm not sure who else does. Philip K Dick knew it.
